found it by looking at portal options for PHPBB3.

A guildy here. If you want to make the site more popular google up search engine optimization. Submit your site to major search engines like yahoo, google, and put keywords on every single page. Check their popularity with trends. Try keywords on your main page like "phpbb wow plugins, phpbb world of warcraft plugins" because wow will be your biggest customer, since they have the biggest population. I needed this because wowstead used to be nice but they took away all of their awesome features.
