it does both. if it "sees" bbdkp then it will "hook" into bbDKP and act as a raidplanner and use the lang table, zones, events, members. however if you don't have bbDKP then it will act as a regular calendar. So this way it has reuse value for phpBB forum admins looking for a regular calendar. So we'll be using Hooks as an integration method.

I hate to ask, but I have held off installing bbdkp on our new guild site waiting for 1.2 and its new features. I was hoping it would be ready for the release of cata. Is there any update as to when it will be ready?

i haven't posted much lately, because the raidplanner was giving me some headaches. it's working now, i'm now putting on the 'final touch'. it will require bbdkp 1.1.3, because i needed to write character-phpbb account integration with a new UCP module. In there you will be able to select your characters (overridable in the ACP), look up your personal dkp, see what raids you signed up to. Expect 1.1.3 and Raidplanner next weekend. the new lootsystems will be part of release 1.2 and will come before or after christmas.

Raid planner
I'm now working on the Raid scheduler. it is a phpbb3 port of phpRaider, and it will include a character profiler, with phpbb3 Account integration via UCP with your existing bbDKP characters.

any news on this?

This is the screen in ucp where you can see your own characters dkp. from here you can add a character. it will also feature the raids you signed up to.

I'm still curious as to what stage the raidplanner will be released at

Will the raidplanner essentially just let people show availability for raids? Will there be any reporting tools? Will the raidplanner provide tools to form a raid and post it to the topic? Will it split based upon Spec (both onspec and offspec)

Any clues as to both short term plan and long term plan would be gratefully received

Just asking update for the schedule (ie is there any point of manually adding new zones to bossprogress etc)
